Fun On The Road

You can go wherever you like (T.I. voice).  We have cars, so if we have a few days to spare, why not just drive somewhere for the weekend?  When driving to a destination, you can stop along the way, check out landmarks, take in the scenery, stop at local restaurants, and grab up as many snack as you want at the rest stops.  I don’t really have to plan too far in advance to take a road trip.

How Dare She: That Time I Went To NYC Alone

Jen and I took a Lyft to Queens to go the Meadows Fest. Citi Field Stadium was packed by the end of the night, and we were literally holding hands so that we wouldn’t lose each other.  I’m generally not a fan or large crowds, but I was in such a good headspace, hanging with friends, watching some of my favorite artists, eating carnival food, and sipping cocktails, that it really didn’t bother me much.

5 Reasons Why I Travel - Guilt Free

From my experience, frequent travel seems to be viewed as extravagant and unnecessary by many people.  You get the cute side eye when you say you’re going somewhere, or sometimes even bold questions like “how much does that cost,” or “didn’t you just get back from _____?”
